So my struggles with attention and focus and staying on track have been getting worse the last year or so. I can't seem to stay on track. Its been extra bad last few months. I was hoping a vacation would help but I'm still the same.

I jump from one project to the next. Forget what I'm doing, and just in general am strugglign with this. Even fun things like my game I can't focus on doing on thing at a time. So I know it's not just a work thing. I'm just so frustrated and tired of all this.

I can relate to this issue all too well. It's also gotten worse for me lately. I jump around from one project to another too, then forget what I'm doing and go on to something else... as a result, just about nothing actually gets done. I know it's really hard to explain cognitive issues like this to people too, they just don't get it.
Thanks for this!

Yes, exactly. I have so many projects but can't seem to stay on task for one and get it done. It's really frustrating. Especially since no one around me has cognitive problems like I have so they just give me all these strategies that don't work....

Does anyone else notice that if they are having racing thoughts their affect is flatter? I've started noticing this in my last few more manic cycles.

Thanks. I know I have a different issue than many here. I am trying to pay more attention to my responses to things so I don't just snap to a response. And I noticed the past few days that for example, a co-worker smiles as they pass by, saying "hi." I will say hi too but I notice I can't get my face to smile. I just stare at them.

I wish I had a projector in my eyes and could, at will, show how many things are going through my mind to people. So people could see how much is going at once, and why I get all flustered with things...
