Hello. One of my friends have told me about their sister. She recently got a major concussion and was in the hospital for a while, which is why this topic kinda came up. Well, it came up because we were watching "A Beautiful Mind" in class.

Anyways, apparently she said her sister told her that she has two people in her head. One is an 8 year-old boy and another an older woman. Apparently they are very nice to her, and not tell her bad things or whatever. But she was hospitalized because of being considered "crazy" or what not. She was there for a week or two I think. Apparently, she was not placed on medication of any kind, nor any "formal" diagnosis was made, which I found very odd.

Anyways, I told my friend that she should try to get her sister to see a professional of some kind to help with this.

Apparently, this similar thing happened to her all her life. I thought there was an age onset for schizophrenia, but. The first weird incident was when their pet bunny
Possible trigger:
Her sister was there, and her grandma was there also. Her grandma was freaking that the kid could be traumatized for seeing their bunny like that. But apparently, her sister said something like "bye, bye bunny" and was like, not freaking out, maybe even happy. I was not entirely sure about that part because I got distracted.

Anyways, I would like to get my friend to get her sister to see someone for it, but I wanted to make sure it sounds like something related to psychosis and isn't just considered "normal" for a 12 year-old? to do this. What are your thoughts on the situation? Thanks for the response .

If she's been checked out then it's fine....more people hear voices than those with sz they are simply called voice hearers, it's only psychosis if there is impairment.

Hello. Okay, so I asked my friend for more information on it. She said that her sister told her that some "voices" have said to her that
Possible trigger:
but the other "voices" tell her not to.

My friend has woken up at 2 in the morning because her sister is talking to these "voices" at this time.

And also, apparently my friend said that her sister told her that she can "see the future". As in like
Possible trigger:
and what they look like before she has even met them. Her most recent vision is that
Possible trigger:
My friend is scared if that is true, because her dad has been getting worse lately, but isn't sure if her sister is making it up or whatever. In my opinion, that seems like a delusion, like to claim you can see stuff in the future.

I feel like that isn't normal. I still find it weird they didn't test her for anything or did therapy of some kind when they sent her to the hospital for this reason. Her mom apparently believes this is normal for a teenager to do.
