Basically what my psychotic/delusionary experiences are like:

Someone talks to me but it means something different.

It could be a comment about something internal, i feel hungry, a comment about something external- you smell like you need a shower. Sexual- I can't have a orgasm, or I haven't had sex in a while...ummm....affectionate- i love you, just some examples but they could be anything. They form in my mind, usually after they have been said or written, sometimes they are even set off by particular actions or expressions, as if the expression was spoken- i get this with my dog- panting, translating to "I am thirsty"

I call them 'my special message' which feels telepathic, for it does not ever appear anywhere.

Yeah i am getting tired but to wrap this us....it has resulted in recently thinking that every new person i talk to is someone i know, pretending to be someone else and going to great lengths to be disguised!

More to come...

for goldmaiden...

I, too, interperate things in special messages...I feel hungry...well...that feels telepathic to me too, like they are implying they have a hunger for me...always reading in between the lines...not sure if this is what you meant...but I do believe I can relate...at least your post has a bubbliness to it, not searing with problems like some..am i right you're not too upset with this? Write us- you said more to come!!

I have a friend that goes through this and how she handles it is that her doctor told her when ever this starts happening she was to call him for an appointment because her medication may need to be adjusted or changed. the human body develops tollorance levels to medications and also women go though all kinds of metabolical changes for example their body chemicals are different during the menstual cycle then they are when not having a period. Each time it happens with my friend she goes in and with medication changes and adjustments it stops happening. My friend has also noticed that this happens when she does not take her medication regularly - every day at the same time of day. so she now writes down on a medication log hanging on her fridge door every day the medication, dosage and time she took the medication. Maybe you can contact your prescribing professional if you are on medication and the doctor can adjust or change your medication. or if you are not on medication maybe your doctor can prescribe something that will help you. and if this is a forgot to take the medication reaction maybe keeping a medication log on your fridge door will help with remembering to take the medication.

Hang in there

WOW, OMG! I have that happen a lot, Sometimes I will not even move, wear my hood, tie my hair up, shuffle my feet when i walk, touch or do something if mine say I am in danger or something. This type of stuff is hard to talk about! But uhm, the other day i had so many it sort of felt like I was still sleeping or in two worlds at once. Just organizing my mind is a challenge! My delusions

Goldmaiden,
My delusions consist of some of the same things like telepathic messages given to me everytime I do something or am about to do something , like if I look in the mirror and I am about to brush my hair, They say something like" dont bother brushing your hair, you look like crap anyway" or if I color something red, they will tell me it is the wrong color and I made a mistake. They alwasy point out something I have done wrong, like a mean father bullying me. They come as voices. Other times when I am lying in bed trying to sleep, They just keep saying "listen to me" "listen, sleeping wont help you" Whatever it is I do or other people do around me, they send me some sort of negative telepathic-like message that I cant shake. I think maybe I am just talking to myself like that because I have such low self esteem that everything I do is wrong, and It comes to me in other peoples voices. I dont know, but I think my meds have worn off. My delusions

When I have to make decisions they often do that with me, I can never seem to make a decision!
