Mine: "Alternate Ending"

I have been fighting against my illness and the road it has forced me to take. Despite intensive treatment, my illness has continued to progress--it just keeps getting worse and I can see where it is taking me. I don't want to end up like that--I don't want my psychosis to take over. Ultimately, my illness is going to kill me...I don't want my life to end like that--I want an "Alternate Ending."

OK mine will be titled "Despite the Odds". So far I've been really lucky despite having a brain problem that caused me to be unable to walk for a month I recovered spontaneously and same deal with psychosis...it was harsh but even though I had it for longer than a month and should have fallen into one of the chronic diagnoses I didn't. So there are a few times when things should not have worked out according to the books but they did anyway. If I get to pick an ending I would like for my life to have helped other people...I always think it would be amazing if I figured out something that cured a disease since that's what I do for work...but since we're talking a movie maybe I could come up with the cure for treatment resistant psychosis I think that would be a really cool ending

Mine would be Smoke and Mirrors because that's pretty much how I get through everything... it all works out somehow.

I don't remember now what mine was. Something to do with the end of torture and sweet relief. But I'm trying hard (it continues to be a long hard slog) to make that my real transition rather than alternate ending. That way I really can get down to helping other people instead of being the hermit I am at the moment.

I guess, in some ways, it is much the same as yours, D.

Mine would be 'forever' because it is equally hopeful and equally realistic. Like I feel love for something and I say I love something forever but of course nothing is forever. Its a head vs the heart kind of thing. And of course it also echos a state that I do not want to be in.

I also like 'in love' , like the difference between loving something and being 'in love' with something.

I find where there is hope there is hopelessness. Usually for me in equall measure and truthfully I would not want it any other way.

Heres another one 'if it takes forever i'll wait forever' . Its a stement of hope against something that is impossible , yet i'll always be ready and outward looking.
