So to help develop aot programs ie forcing people to take meds by court order the government just established grants for fifty new programs for a total of $15 million. It's sad that things are moving this direction when recent studies suggest that life long medication actually enhances the chance of relapse...very sad. Here is the bill it's section 224 which starts on page 120

It looks like it's passed the House but not the Senate yet.

No it just passed the senate like a couple of hours ago

It was just really fast because it was tacked onto a bill about Medicare or something they had to pass.

I think it's only a formality that the president signs it at this point

Section 222 says there is a realignment for Medicare sequester in 2024. I'm assuming this means there will be drastic cuts to Medicare in 10 years.

Am I reading this right?

I'm not sure what the rates were in the 1985 bill so they may have made it better or worse...but it's a while from now so we might get in a good congress before then I hope...
