I know gluten free is the latest fad but did you know that in some people it can trigger psychosis. Sure we're just talking case studies so its super rare but the fact that it exits at all merits a trial of an elimination diet for anyone who's concerned about the possibility...

Gluten Sensitivity Presenting as a Neuropsychiatric Disorder

This woman was just changing her diet to deal with intestinal issues (IBS) and when she cut out gluten the hallucinations just stopped...I find this entirely plausible due to something called the gut brain axis where the two organs are connected by the vagus nerve and things like anxiety have been show to be changeable for example with probiotic use. All in all very interesting...
