How much your doctor received from Medicare in 2012. My GP received $190,000. My mom's GP received $167,000. My son's pdoc received $61,000.

It looks to me like some of the procedures done by the GP's were less time consuming. And I suspect some of those were delegated to nurses and other assistants.

My son's pdoc has two services listed: 20-30 minute visit and 45-50 minute visit. He only has 32 patients on the first and 26 on the second, but of course each patient receives the same service multiple times per year. And the pdoc can't delegate it. And it's some consuming.

My doctor is not in there probably because he gets a salary from the hospital and isn't independent...still interesting...

Not much. I'm guessing he see very few medicare patients, and most of those are inpatient.

I know depending on the state medicaid pays 40-72% of the average rate of services.
