I read somewhere that Schizophrenia is psychosis that lasted longer then 6 months. I have had psychosis ever since I was little. And recently diagnosed severe bipolar with manic and severe psychosis. Would the psychosis be considered schizophrenic at this point? Im 18 now.

Bipolar psychosis is psychosis in a mood episode. Psychosis outside mood episode is schizo affective bipolar type.
