To BonnieS: if you are immune, we need to call together everyone who is immune to stop them. We should start with posts online. Because almost everyone is brainwashed, they won't listen and say I'm crazy. But the few who aren't will listen. We can spread the truth throughout the entire Internet! It will be safer that way

Yes I am immune,I have tried to warn people about the brain washing scheme for a long time now.We should start by posting this on every social networking website,And in every forum that we know the majority of people spend their time in.Posting it all over facebook,on random pages and posts and sharing it would be a fast way to spread the word too.Mainly because many many people use facebook.

Google the medical model or what quantitive or qualitative research is or what is philosophically spoken of knowledge , empiricism and rational. Maybe you will have a better idea what constitutes evidence or proof.

Just to put it out there, I woke up one day and realized hey, they are brainwashing us! I'm immune! I had no prior knowledge of any conspiracies or anyone else who is immune. Ever since, music sounded.... Odd to me. Maybe the brainwashed brain incorrectly perceives music.

To clarify , what i'm telling you is , your thinking is detached from reality and if you are interested in why i believe this . You will look at what constitutes evidence , knowledge , theory , etc.

All music sounds like to me is a really weird repetitive electronic rhythm and an electronic voice going like fjsjfnskfjneic! everyone else thinks it is actually someone saying actual words. Also, bonnieS put something about JFK revealing stuff. Everyone everywhere seems like they are in some kind of rhythm and I'm out of line. How else would I know I'm immune anyways?

That's not really evidence. It's just your subjective feeling that music sounds weird and that everyone is in rhythm except you.

If only you and a few others are immune, then how will it help to go around telling people about this? If they're not immune, they'll likely not believe you anyway.

Look, I KNOW I am immune. And I can't even make out words in music. It's random electronic noises, not actual language. And I already know that they probably won't believe me, but it's worth a shot. How do you know that you are immune?

Are you asking me how I know I'm immune to brainwashing? Or just in general how would one know?

Personally I don't think the government is trying to brainwash me, so I have no need of immunity. I also don't think it's that easy to brainwash people.

I do believe corporations target us with a lot of advertising and even try to change culture so that we consume more of their products. That's way more of a threat to us than any government brainwashing program. I suspect we're all more vulnerable to that advertising than we realize. Most of us think we're too smart, but those corporations spend a lot of money on research on ways to get inside our heads. The solution is to turn the tv off. If I went around saying that to people, their eyes would glaze over. People largely don't care.

Yep. Hard to do when our entire culture is about consumption.

The divide and conquer thing is interesting to me in politics. I like to read the comments after news stories. People are so disrespectful of those they disagree with. In that regard the best thing to do IMO is to try to model respectful dialog. I do see some people trying to talk to others "across the aisle" so to speak. But most are just rude and dismissive. You'll never convince anyone that way. Or find a compromise. Or even realize your shared humanity.

I often think of that song "Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me." That's the way to change things. Begin with yourself, and it may spread.
