Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. Your stepson is very lucky that you're researching how to best support him. Not everyone would do that, so you should feel proud of yourself too.

My only advice would be to listen to as much as he is willing to say, and never dismiss it. Even if it seems ridiculous to you & everyone else, the feelings/experiences are very real to him, and laughing or telling him it's silly & to snap out of it will just lead to him not opening up in the future.
