German memorials: Remembrance day | The Economist

I can't say I've ever thought of this but hundreds of thousands of mentally ill were killed during the holocaust and they are now being remembered. We tend to think of religious differences and physical handicaps but why not the MI---perhaps the other resonates more with most people but there was a time where our mere existence was worthy of little more than death....anyway this is an article about a memorial that was put up in Berlin.
