That sounds like an acute dystonic reaction...oculogyric crisis....it Can get worse....they usually change your meds for that one I think...

Acute Dystonia

Best to call the pdoc and let them know....should get their attention at any rate....if it gets worse like involving your back or anything you might want to go to the hospital....

Cheers for that, it did only happen maybe once or twice a month. They increased my depot and it happens at least once a day for about twenty minutes to on and off for a few hours. This med was really helping me with anxiety so didn't want to have to go off it, I'll say it to my doc and see what the story is. Really embarrassing when it happens in front of people and it's wrecking my head in general.

I just did an online Tarot reading. One card came with this interpretation:

Quote:
Someone, most likely male, isn't quite what they seem. Trickery and deception cleverly disguised as charm and friendliness, so be sure that this person really does have your best interests at heart. If someone who you feel wary of is presenting you with a business opportunity, be cautious and trust your instincts.
Trickery. Deception. Not quite like they seem. Her husband acts all sweet and nice, but he is evil underneath. A demon.

So the question remains: what to do about the demon? Do you get an exorcism if the demon is not possessing anyone? (I don't think he is possessing her, but I do know she settled for him. I also know that since their marriage she has become significantly less happy.)

The world was supposed to end the day they got married. No, really. Some guy predicted the end of the world on the date of their wedding.

I recognize that this is a strange line of reasoning, so I'm not delusional. Part of me wants him to be a demon, because then I could justify breaking them apart. Does this make me the evil one?

I still don't think I fit in on here - probably because my nurse is wrong.
Maybe I should just stick with Facebook.

Ugh... I slept terribly last night. I woke up at 3am & wasn't able to get back to sleep.

Feeling pretty run down today, hoping I'm not coming down with something - feel a bit hot too.

I noticed people smoke more on ritalin.

This morning I took ritalin and smoked 7. Yesterday I took no ritalin and smoked none. The day before I took ritalin and smoked 10.

Ritalin increases dopamine in the brain. Many schizophrenics smoke and they have i think too much dopamine so taking antipsychotics should help with smoking.

Observationz...
Thanks for this!

its gonna be thunderstormy here today. i have to work 1 to 8. i hate that shift. it feels like forever. and it is gonna be busy cuz it's friday and the first of the month. i have to work 2 to 8 tomorrow too. i keep wishing i would just quit my job but i know that would not be good for me. it just seems so hard to work. i dont understand how other people can work more hours than me every day and still function. it makes me feel like a loser that im not like that. it makes me more aware of how much further i have to go in my recovery

Afternoon (Morning!)

Not much has changed since this morning for me. Still feeling a bit off so I've popped a paracetamol.

Might have to stop smoking... it's not been bothering my asthma much thus far but if I get ill that might just be like a double whammy.

I can't keep smoking for long obviously anyway but I just feel it's what's been keeping me grounded whilst I'm waiting for my referral.

Strange thing is my asthma only appeared, or got bad enough to notice, after I quit smoking last November... it might well have played up even more if I hadn't quit when the winter came around though.

Certainly food for thought... my thoughts are: dopamine increases impulsive behaviour, which will make you more likely to smoke alongside the other typical reasons given for why sz smoke.

My paranoia is certainly worse when I'm alone & it's more likely to bring my delusions to the surface.

Kind of normal in a way but the response is worse ...
