My doctor thinks that I have Bipolar Disorder but I'm schizophrenic. I've been diagnosed with schizophrenia for many years now. I'm off of my meds now, but I'm supposed to be on Esil, and Aripiprazole, 10 mg. I used to be on a version of Sizodon, but it wasn't working. I was hearing voices and my life felt messed up.
Does anyone know a good medication for delusions and stress? i also have worries. Is it paranoia? |

You might want to look for the drugs in the drugs and treatments forum. The worries might be anxiety. You can try that forum as well.

How are you feeling without meds? When did you stop taking them and did you tell your pdoc?

Zyprexa (Olanzapine) helps me with stress and sleep. My doc prescribed it for psychotic MDD - he says I have Cotard's Delusion but I don't, honestly. He just doesn't believe there's a hole in my chest.

By the way - a friend took Zyprexa 2.5 mg for obsessive thoughts related to her anorexia and she slept for three days straight. I take 15 mg and it keeps me asleep for 1 night. So it causes extreme sleepiness for some people.

Worries and low-grade paranoia can look similar. I started taking 2.5 mg Zyprexa for it in addition to my Seroquel and that has helped.
