if you have done the hell trip or the possessed by demons/devil and have good awareness of it, I am hoping to hear your comments n stuff on it, and hope you have recovered. If you can keep it analytical, not just raw emotion if poss

Not exactly but I did think I had somehow accidentally sold my soul and become the third horse of the apocalypse....there were trumpets and thunder along with the delusion really adding to the authenticity.

that sounds pretty cool, wonder what you were guilty about, one too many cookies from the cookie jar perhaps? The possession or the exorcism is the most extreme of the lot and you get props in chatrooms amongst all the other hard liners

It was just after I was hospitalized and I wasn't taking my meds...had to see the pdoc the next day....probably felt guilty about that....

the "hell trip" was the only thing that could stop me, I had like 10 years ptsd thinking about it, even if existence of hell is baloney, I don't want to go near this state of mind or even take the chance it may somewhat be real. and I aint even religious, but I respect the idea of "god" and its uses to help with fear and pain.

I was an atheist and I promised God that I would belive in him if he helped me out of this one and the next day I got working meds.....small miracle to me....

nice one man, a while back I couldn't sleep and I prayed god to help me to sleep and I fell asleep without much fuss lol

if you have ever seen a Hollywood movie where someone gets the electric chair, that's how I can compare the feelings in my body during this, there were no blackouts, I was hyperaware. Its like the bodies own version of ect, but I was very awake..

Was it continuous? I had a different time where I had shocking sensations in my heart and in my legs....I thought I was having a heart attack and called an ambulance but it wasn't constant I cant imagine the pain if it was....

time was distorted perhaps 10 mins or 2 hrs, massive release of energy from unconscious to conscious awareness, massive purge,

a heart attack would be scary, it felt like I had a fist inside my chest punching outwards and I was physically moving around with the blows..

if you have seen the movie the crow with the late Brandon lee, and he gives one of the baddies 24 hrs of pain in one touch or something, this means physical, psychological, emotional etc

thanks for listening to my story somewhat, my delusions have been deactivated due to my better management. I wish you well in life and you left a small impression on me, if possible try not to lurk too excessively in forums online.

I am not big on my impressions of the management here, but I will be forever immortalised in a forum on lycos in luxemburg

25 years ago it's how the schizophrenia started. i heard a disappearing scream inside of me, leaving my body, & was convinced that i'd lost my soul to the devil. It all happened in a fraction of time. i immediately entered a very altered state - was as if i'd been turned inside out, & there was no separation between me & the Universe - it was like everything had gone see through & nothing was solid.

i was convinced that i was going to hell for eternity, & had some deep realisations about life & this earth, like a massive download of information - concerning aliens & other conspiracy stuff.

Was in a highly distressed state & behaving in very distressing ways for others, for some days, before being sectioned in psychiatric hospital, & ending up on a locked ward/secure unit for 4 months.

When released i went into full time work for 4 years, & also read the Bible obsessively.

A long journey since then with everything (3 more hospitalisations/7 major episodes, some 8 years in psychosis, 17 years in addiction). i don't believe what i thought was happening at the time, but i also don't have categorical answers to it all. i don't entirely agree with psychiatry on it all.

i did find an explanation from a healer some years ago, that has made more sense than anything, but i'm still not exactly sure on everything. i plod on with maintaining sobriety (13 years sober), taking the pills, & to make things simpler accept the diagnosis.

it was hell, very scary, devil yelling, beings torchured, nuke sounds, windows rattled, demons, saw beings stuck in trees, heard angels, aliens, vortexes, pain fields..
i ended up in hospital being torchured by a bad med decision

I believed I was possessed by a demon. I hallucinated that my stomach was moving in waves and that it was actually the demon inside me. Also, my stomach was growling (I hadn't eaten in days) and I thought that it was the demon growling. I begged my family over and over to take me to an exorcist.

Yep, ended up in IP for that one.
