Is it possible for schizophrenia to get worse in time? I've been having a lot more hallucinations for a while now and the psychosis feelings and negative symptoms are daily rather than separate episodes.

I think it probably waxes and wanes like stress does. I know some days I have worse hallucinations than other days. But I believe there are stretches of time where it can get worse, but also other periods where it can get better.

Schizophrenia is a degenerative disorder, which means without medication, it will get worse in time.

The attacks might worsen or seesaw overtime but you have to keep fighting back.

I think it's getting worse, too. Well at least, I've been having quite some hallucination the past 4 days. Could be some sort of a leftover, or a start of new ag.e. They're interesting, to say the least, and do not bother me yet.
