I hate it when that happens! When I used to suffer from insomnia that would happen all the time. It's like you know you must have slept technically because so much time has passed but you don't feel refreshed at all. It's horrible.
They don't have great curry bases here at least not at my grocery, it tastes flat. Normally I mix all the individual spices but lazy me wants a one stop curry powder---its worth a try.

We have good jarred green and red thai curries here so I'm not as worried about those and I'm never going to find fresh galangal.

They won't even deliver? Do you have someone who can go shopping for you and bring it to you?

Have you looked to see if there's disability services that can help you? My city will deliver and transport.

I should. I know there's a ride service for medical appointments but that's all I know of. Thanks for the idea!

Why don't you want to go? Do you feel you don't get anything worthwhile out of the group?

no i dont get anything worthwhile out of it. its like AA style almost. its a step down. theres no steps but they have repeated some of the steps before. idk why. id rather spend my day shopping. or spend my day with my mom who doesnt treat me all that well than goto group. well my mom treats me well its just a hit or miss with her. but thats another story.

i just dont get anything out of it. i literally dont. i sit there and look around and draw on paper for and hour and a half and then leave.

they might. i feel like group is negative energy though to me. all these people talk about is how bad their life is and IM in recovery and it gives me a sense of panic and anxiety and it doesnt make me feel good at all. like i dont feel like group is good for me. like i literally had a panic attack thinking about going the other day.

We spend most of the time working on art and socializing rather than discussing a specific topic. We do check-in, a report of what is going on in life. Most attendees are recovering from addictions or have PTSD. I can't really relate to their experiences, but I enjoy hearing their stories, because they give me hope.

This group isn't associated with a hospital at all.

I had Taco Bell for the first time in a long time yesterday, too! They had a frito pie wrap and I was so happy because it was only $1 too. Sonic used to sell them and I loved them so much but they stopped years ago. I never really liked Taco Bell but I'll totally go back for that.
