So I was raised performing spells, doing readings, using crystals and practicing reiki. I can go into detail on things I specifically can do or do perform, but wont unless you ask. Soooo with that in mind, is this false, magical thinking/hallucination/delusion. Or is this religion?

Since you were raised doing it, and it sounds similar to religions like Wicca and Paganism, then it would probably be considered religion rather than psychosis.
Though, if you are experiencing any form of hallucination, including seeing demons, hearing voices etc. that is something you need to talk about with a professional. Also, if you are experiencing any delusions besides this, like thinking people are trying to hurt you, or that things like billboards or advertisements are sending messages specifically for you, then that is also something you need to talk about with a professional. If it's limited to just a religion that's less common where you live, then I wouldn't be too concerned. But if there are other elements that show you're delusional and/or are experiencing hallucinations then you should seek professional help. Do you see or hear anything when you perform spells? |

No. I have in the past (when I was young) but sparingly. I do feel like I MAY have some delusions, but they could be normal beliefs. and I'm making them into an obsession/delusion. Yeah my mom was Pagan.

I hear things but they are more like noises/sounds versus words or commentary. Or like ill think my husband or some one said something to me and Ill be like "what did you say?" or "what?" and they didnt say anything.

My husband says "crystals dont have powers and you arent psychic/cant be telepathic/dont control nature, etc" soo idk. I experience a lot of deja vu as well. Like almost daily or multiple times a day

It's not a lie it's real they want you to think otherwise so you belive humans are incapable of doing things for them selves like the bloated population of doctors that tell us we can't be more than just nothing than just a regular human with no soul with no mind with only a robotic sate of falce security

ive experienced several things that let me know our connection with the unknown exists and can be very dangerous to us if we dont know how to handle it correctly.
after that i fully believe in beings or ..something..that knows and exploits us using a supernatural like thing. __________________ I will never believe im mentally ill because i always believe in logic, reason and scientific observation. |

I believe in the power of crysta ls and I understand to some people they dont gave power
I don' t think that makes it a delusion, though To me, a delusion is a belief that can be proven flase but is still believed No one can disprove the power of crystals or the existence of spirits or performing spells |

i have magical thinking rly bad. for me its thinking i can control reality with the way i think about things. its not necessarily about religion or anything specific.

I agree with the last part. I know it does. I figure things out before others do, generally.

It's entirely dependent on culture....if you're learning it from other people its ok, if you're making up your own religion it's not ok. I have asked my psychiatrist about it and he thought psychics while he didn't belive in them were culturally appropriate.
