while i think they did a poor job at throwing vaping in at the end there, lol, i found this to be a very informative article. i once had a very judgemental doc at urgent care who made a snide comment to me after i told her i would work on quitting smoking after i had my anxiety under control. now i see that is the least of my worries with 60% of ptsd sufferers smoking and 70% of bipolars i see those to diagnoses put me at greater risk than the anxiety..just what i need, more justification.......hahahaha

I broke mine last night on accident. I'm so sad. I can't afford another tank or juice until next month after I pay everything and that's only if I have enough. $650 is already going to bills and doctors next month leaving me with $83 for medicine, food, etc. sigh. At least my $63 in food stamps will help with food and I barely eat. I think I'll be able to squeeze by this month.

Except that vaping is probably just as bad as smoking cigs. At least, based on what I've read.

But yeah, they kind of just threw vaping at the end there. The rest of it was interesting, but pretty basic knowledge. Although I like how they mentioned that cigarettes are used to get patients to be compliant. So true.

Vaping is at least 95% safer than smoking. There's a ton of bad info out there perpetrated by big tobacco and pharma probably.

That wouldn't surprise me. Just how it's like I feel like the reason they're trying to keep weed illegal is because big pharma, alcohol and tobacco companies would lose soooooo much money. So much. But if they legalized it, the country wouldn't be in debt. In Colorado alone, in one month, they made enough from tax alone to fund public schools with $3 million. If that can happen with just one state, imagine how much more money the U.S. would make. How much we could fund all kinds of things like education, nasa, medical research, etc.

Right. The tobacco companies and state budgets are losing money hand over fist because vaping actually works as a smoking cessation method. NRT doesn't work, and Wellbutrin and Chantix don't work but the pharmaceutical companies make a lot of money off of them.

The most misleading lie is that ecigs produce formaldehyde. What they don't say is that under the conditions that they do this, you are not actually vaping. You'd have to have a completely dry wick and the heat would be so extreme you physically couldn't vape it. Plus, the formaldehyde in cigarettes is more.

There are thousands of chemicals and poisons in cigarettes. In vaping, there are only 2 or 3 ingredients, propylene glycol, vegetable glycerine, and nicotine. Flavoring is optional and so is nicotine. Some people vape only VG, some only PG. The harm reduction with vaping is a miracle for millions of otherwise doomed smokers who've been able to stop smoking via vaping.

Yup! I've had a few friends stop smoking by switching to ecigs and lowering the nicotine amount until it was 0mg. One of my friend still vaping 0mg because he likes the smoking part. So he's just inhaling vg and pg.
