i discussed it with my dad. im only gonna take 10mg haldol tonight. he thanked me for discussing it with him. i feel good right now cause the meds are wearing off.

Been awake since 3:00 am. Would love it too sleep through the night sos I can function on high resolution next day. So quite..eerie quiet.
Need shower power here in a bit, gots to hunt and gather.

Found out my official diagnosis on the ICD thingy, they don't use the DSM over here! It's F29 - unspecified psychosis not due to a substance or physiological condition.

that's pretty much what i have as a dx... except in the US its called psychotic disorder NOS (Not otherwise specified)

I was thinking I had heard of it before, I forgot you had it too. I was just getting some forms filled out for my disability payments and they put that down. They had pretty much told me I had psychosis of some sort but never gave me an actual diagnosis and someone on here mentioned my psychosis was drug induced so I wasn't sure. It's good to know anyway, it doesn't really mean anything to me but it's handy for official purposes or when I talk to a new doctor or that.

yeah, i dont put much into diagnoses. when i go to a new doctor and they ask me why i am on all these meds i just tell them i have a psychotic disorder

morning.

my physical symptoms have lifted from taking 10mg. i dont feel tired but i feel a bit of anxiety. so well see how that goes today.

had my coffee today

like a new medical doctor or new psychiatrist or in general? because i dont ever tell them about my psychosis unless its a psychiatrist. except for my current medical doctor he knows now.

i guess if they saw me on those meds like a new doc then i would have to explain.

medical doctors mainly. i usually get the question about why i am on certain meds. i dont want to lie to them so i just tell them that. some have probed further others havent. part of the reason why i hate going to doctors so much. plus, i just dont trust them and dont want to be touched by them. im having the problem of needing to find a PCP but i am too scared to meet one. i was thinking today that i would rather stop taking my non-psych meds than go to a doctor....

problem is medical doctors can treat you differently and like a psych patient when you tell them those things but i know its very important to tell them about which meds your on and it eventually leads them to asking why youre on them.
