its actually a 7 peice kit but i took off the highest pitch drum and added a second snare. you can see the small drum is under a desk there. i also play guitar. not that well. but i mess around with it. my dad plays guitar. is 68. been playing since he was 11 and has played in a few venues.

Ah mines only a babby compared to that, nice job being able to play such a large set up.

thanks! yea i dont play every single day. i used to then i had my major episode a few years ago and i started reading more and stopped listening to music. yea i know. but im back. i play couple times a week right now.

I know your pain. Guitar was always my muse but ever since my episode I haven't been able to get back into it the same as I used to. Maybe, just maybe... playing more and enjoying it is a sign you're getting your old life back, I wish I could say the same.

So apparently a leaked document from the United Nations says there's plan to push decriminalization of drug use across countries in the UN, treating it as a health issue as opposed to a Criminal issue. This would be fantastic, finally moving towards the end of the ever losing war on drugs.

The art thread has inspired me. Made me think that drawing is something I enjoyed doing so maybe I could try to use it to distract myself and something to enjoy.

i just called in to the clinic. i feel so horrible. i slept right through my appt and it was in my calender too. ugh. i feel so bad. they said i have to go on standby and see if anyone doesnt come and have to wait in the waiting room for forever.

Don't worry newtus I'm sure they will understand. They probably get people who just don't turn up all the time. You've at least rang them and have a valid reason for forgetting.

i never missed an appt in the 3 years ive been going to that clinic i believe. never. i just completely forgot. all i could think about was sleeping and getting over my cold. they seemed to understand as they always seen me but i feel completely horrible because that shows im not responsible and i try so hard to be. with these meds and being sick its just getting harder and then im dropping out of one of my classes and everything is just a mess right now.

I've got a girls phone number. sweet girl. Same interests. absolutely beautiful. The big elephant in the room though is that I live in my mom's place. I usually get depressed at about this time but this time I feel like... what can I offer, what do I have? If it weren't for my project and all the reading and research that goes into that I would feel like a complete loser. This will be the first date I've had since December, because of my situation.

I'm really depressed because I feel trapped in a life that constitutes failure after failure. I'm not going to give up but the odds aren't that good.

So I show up to fight each day and each night.

When I go on a date with this woman I'll feel the butterflies and then the date will be over and I'll then recognize all that's wrong and what I have to do to make it right but I don't know how to get out of this cycle of poverty. I don't make much money.

I feel really down today. I took my prn klonopin but I don't feel much better. I'm too keyed up about how my disability paperwork is going to go at my pdoc appt next Wednesday.

I met her online. She lives very close to me. I know she has a yoga studio. She does like philosophy, especially metaphysics and what it is to be human. Right down my ally.

She said she liked this place called the Library Pub. I was thinking that, since she is comfortable there, we could get a booth and get to know each other there. Personally, the way she gave me her phone number was aggressive. All it took was a thoughtful few paragraphs. She replied, and then gave me her number.
