The other day I had a strange experience. I was going to put something away after dinner, and went after my favorite leftover container, pulled it out of the cabinet, then got very distressed and irritated when the lid wasn't right there with it, I always keep them together. As I looked through other cabinets, I was holding the container and tapping it on the the counter. At one point I realized I didn't have the container anymore either, noting to unusual I set things down all the time. After an hour of looking for it and it's lid, I gave up, pissed off and used two smaller containers. As I went to put them in the fridge, there was my missing container, with its lid. I then remembered putting it in the fridge several days before. It is unique and I only have one like it, so what was I holding and taping on the counter? I know I see and hear things some times, but this was tangible, and couldn't have actually been the container I thought I had since it was it the fridge, yet I was annoying others by tapping it on the counter. It's things like this (there have been similar incidents over the years) that make me wonder if I am hallucinating at all or if it's something else. Idk, just thought I'd share.

Hello D.B. Cooper: Thanks for sharing your experience. The Skeezyks is an old codger & has experiences pretty regularly that make him wonder if it's the effects of long-term anxiety & depression, general aging... or something else... The problem is it can be difficult to tell the various possible causes apart.
