Do you find that helps you fall asleep? Is it because it is a monotonous activity (like counting sheep), or because you believe it has another mechanism of action? I must admit, in desperation, I tried it last night though it didn't help, but my sleep has been messed up for a long time now. I'm basically nocturnal but trying to function at daytime. There's a reason sleep deprivation is such a powerful torture method!

You post a lot of suggestions to try and help people in similar situations, which I think is very kind of you. I hope you are doing ok.

All the best,
