She told me the same thing over summer but when the 3 months came by and I hadn't found another doctor, all the sudden she changed her mind and said she only seen patients online now. So I've been doing that. Now she tells me her license expires at the end of May (which is the end of the school semester and she's currently in school). She told me she's going to be teaching instead. She hasn't tried to help at all finding anyone. My pcp told me he would cover my refills. But my pdoc wants me to get a therapist before she leaves. I'm still stuck in believing that if I just don't bother looking again and keep holding onto that hope that she'll decide to keep me as a patient online. I basically have been having manic break downs since she told me and every session since after we get offline. I just can't handle the fact that she could be lying. I asked her "I'm not trying to come across as a crazy stalker but I looked up your license number and it doesn't expire until next year." And she told me it was her dea license that is expiring in May. I can't find that number because I haven't had a paper script from her in over a year now. She just sends all of my refills electronically. I asked how I transfer my records and she told me she would rather just write a letter with my current diagnosis and medications because she doesn't want my records to give a "biased view". I'm worried she secretly didn't keep records, even though she's legally required. She doesn't even know what I've tried and haven't tried at this point. :/

Can pcp change your psych meds, if need be?

I think it depends on the GP if they will precrube/alter psych meds. Some are comfortable doing it and some arent. I'm sorry your pdoc is leaving. I hope she isn't lying...

Everything in me in screaming she's doing what she did over summer. I think she's burnt out because she's only in her mid 30's. Or she's just tired of me because literally nothing works. But that's how I am in every field of medicine it seems. I feel like she's just trying to get rid of me because she doesn't want to have to keep dealing with this crazy person who can't be fixed. So why bother?

I hate that she's making you feel that way. I think a go has to jump through some hoops to change psych meds other than ADs and anxiety meds. At least that's what I was told.
Seeing her online sounds great. I wish my pnp would do that.
