Ok I tried to log all my behaviors that are different like I was suggested by people on here. My mother logged some too so I could see the things about me I don't notice we will take the list to a doc to see what is going on. I had a hard time thinking of anything wrong with the way I am so I had to really sit down so here is my list. I know I am missing things but I won't know what they are till I can talk with someone and identify them. I still don't feel like there is a problem but I am doing this mainly for my mother.

1. Losing my thoughts mid think and not being able to recover what I was trying to say or think right away.
2. Hearing distant voices talking like background noise
3. Feeling no emotions sometimes. not being able to feel emotions during an emotional event or time.
4. Getting angry easily over nothing or my feelings hurt, hypersensitivity.
5. Not taking criticism very well and feeling offended by people trying to help me.
6. Thoughts projected in my mind by an outside force usually bad thoughts that I have to ignore and not think about so they can't hurt me or make me feel bad.

Ok and here is her list.

1. Being in my own world and not wanting to socialize or talk with others.
2. Losing interest in personal hygiene
3. Getting wrapped up in a single thing of importance to me and insisting to finish it without help from others sometimes spending days on it until it is finished.
4. Not completing chores or tasks given to me and not following through with things I am not interested in.
5. Looking at things and double taking to see if they are there then looking wild eyed like I just saw a ghost.
6. Talking during a conversation then jumping topic or not being able to follow a direct conversation
7. Quitting mid talk in a conversation and not finishing what I was going to say.
8. Being unusually paranoid about something that really doesn't matter and getting angry if the paranoid belief is being challenged.
9. Not eating and strange loss of appetite
10. Not talking to or texting to friends and family everyday becoming less social and not returning friends phone calls as often.

I will show these to a psychiatrist but I wanted your opinions too what do you think? Do you experience any of these symptoms?

The ones I recognize in me are hearing voices....

Feeling no emotions, this is like a negative symptom.

Getting angry/irritable...

not eating/loss of appetite

being less social.....

Thanks for posting I never really noticed anything was off in me at all but making this list with my mom really did help me out some. I guess we never really know us until we see ourselves through other people's eyes.

I have had many of these symptoms. I'll go through
The loss of thoughts/inability to carry on a conversation.(this has improved).
Hearing voices.
I still lack emotions but I attribute a lot of that to meds.
I was hypersensitive for a while but that has improved.
Isolating is a biggie.
Lack of personal hygiene. This improved with meds.
Paranoia

I like this idea. I am thinking about what I would put on a list for me. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for sharing and yes it is a good idea I got it from another user who suggested I make this list. It is easier to do it with family helping to add on to the list, but that is just me.
