The only reason I put a trigger on this is because I will be triggered by the last question, most of the time.
Is it possible because of psychosis some of my memories to be false? So for instance my best friend left me for a guy, but in reality she left because of another reason? Do you know what I mean? And if it is possible than how do I know what is real?... |

I don't have any advice but I just wanted to say you are not alone, I struggle with this too. I have repressed memories due to childhood trauma so it could be different because of that though.

Same. Sometimes I have days where I don't think my thoughts are real and then freak out and others I think it's my voices talking for me. The I start thinking I'm lying to the doctors and government and UGH. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I've trained myself to trust three people more than my brain, my therapist, my dad, and my husband. I can bounce beliefs and memories off them, especially when I feel unsure and usually they can give me an answer. When I get sick (like cold/flu etc) I often get that fuzzy head feeling similar to a delusional/psychotic episode, so I start to get really nervous if I might be hearing things. I let my husband know, or if need be, a close friend and spend a lot of time with them. At this point I can just look at my husband and he'll let me know if a noise is real.

That's so helpful. I feel so lost alone because I no longer have that security, safe feeling. :/ at least for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
