I just downloaded it and made the three initial games to get my first score, I got a percentile of 97% on information processing and it was the first time I did something like that in my life, so I scored higher than 97% of people between 20-24 years old, while I am drowsy, slightly depressed and tired. I got 46% on attention which is what I expected because of my mental state, but 96% on memory.

Is this thing serious or are they trying to make me feel super smart so I buy a subscription?

Weh, to say something possitive, I feel better after using my brain instead of staring at the wall, I am less foggy.

It gets tougher as you go along if memory serves.

Yeah, I noticed it, but the percentages are not right answers but percentiles.

Which means in memory I am above 96% of people of my age who did it, It doesn't mean that percentages of right answers.

It's difficult to believe I get that feeling this bad, that's why I think it's a trick to make me feel special and make me more prone to buy the game.

To me I see schizophrenia as a genius disorder... my brain works way better than others in many areas. Way worse in others.
So I believe your results.

Of course it's a trick to get you to buy the game! Have you ever seen all the silly memes on Facebook about 'what type of super hero are you?', 'how many of your friends worship the ground you walk on?' or 'how dropdead gorgeous are you? type things? They're laughably stupid. There was one about 'what nationality do you look like?' I played because I have a picture of Lucy, my yellow lab as my avitar and she looks Spanish. Utter and complete nonsense.

One thing with Luminosity you might do is google it with the term 'complaints' and see what you find. When I had a trial subscription I found it challenging, and I think it could be a good thing to help with memory if you're not working or in school, but I was too cheap to pay for it.
