Your last cat was grey, right? Was that your first cat? I'm just wondering cos my first cat was ginger stripes, a bit like Toby is, with a white tummy and white socks, and so ginger cats will always have a special place in my heart

Toby is very photogenic, though I remember your previous cat was too. Thanks for the pics

Yes I remember seeing pictures of your last cat, and I kept thinking he was called Smokey when I was replying but wasn't sure, so you must've mentioned Smokey before too. It's hard when they pass away, but it gets easier...that's what I keep telling myself about the dogs anyway cos it was true when our first 2 cats passed away years ago

it does. smokey was old, he was 13. he had gotten cancer. my mom took him to be euthanized. i didnt go, i was too sad. when spook died it was tragic for me. he was only 7 or 8. he was losing weight and acting different so i took him to the vet. they told me he was in kidney failure. i never knew i would not be bringing him back home. they said treatments are expensive. i decided to let them euthanize him as i was holding him
