Wasn't sure what to title this. . . . I put a trigger button on here cuz I never know what may or may not trigger people.

I have a kinda complicated question. . . Does anyone else's voices try to convince you that you are really someone else/ have delusions that you are someone or something else? And do you have dreams from the pov of the other person/ thing?

I have been experiencing my demonic delusions more and more lately. Last night I had an extremely intense and vivid dream from the pov of the demon. It was set in the future, after the world had essentially ended and demons were in control. I had been hiding out in this human community spying on them. They knew of a demon settlement?( Not sure if that's the right word for it) to the west. I went there and was hailed as a prince. Idk random. There was this huge stone plateau that rose from a perfectly flat land. On top of it was an ancient ruin of some past demon kingdom. There was an old road that led across the mesa. At the end was a huge stone throne. The whole place was completely barren and not a single thing grew as far as you could see. The flat land below was a muted red color and the plateau cliffs were all a dark grey rock. It was the definition of desolate. From sitting on the throne there was a small cliff to the right of me rising up about 100 feet, the top of it was also flat. To the left the platform I was on the cliff sheared off almost straight down for probably a thousand feet. There was a narrow difficult stairway cut into the cliff that came out a few yards in front of the throne. Behind the throne I had made a secret chamber into the earth. I had built a little shrine there, complete with cross and bible. Apparently I still worshipped god but I had to keep it secret from the others?lol. Anyways, during the course of the dream I basically kidnapped this woman from the humans and took her to be my bride/ queen? She was gorgeous btw, long black hair and piercing blue eyes. I made the underground chamber bigger and made a place for her there. . . One morning I woke up to her pointing a sword at my chest. I just laid there like wtf? She didn't stab me tho and I took the sword away from her. Lol. My thoughts in the dream were things like " she still hates me?" " does she miss her friends?" Lol. Obviously if you kidnap someone they aren't going to be your best buddy. So what was my solution? I proposed to my 'court' that we begin trading with the humans (so Roseanna could see/be with humans again) ah, writing this makes me laugh. Such a kindhearted demon I am. The dream ended shortly thereafter and I remember the look of shock on my people's faces. I was sitting on the throne and Roseanna came to sit on one of the giant stone arms. I asked her " are you still treacherous? " I didn't get an answer. . . .
I sketched the plataeu in my journal this morning and wrote a short excerpt from the dream as I woke up. . . Maybe put it into the book I'm writing? This dream kinda hit me because it was in the future and all of my dreams from the demon have been " memories" . It was a very beautiful but dark dream.

Anyways, yeah does anybody else have almost a split personality thing going on? Or even, this is embarrassing, but I was convinced once that I was a wolf. . . Looking back on that how the **** did my family not figure out I was batshit? I was like fourteen and that lasted for . . . A week maybe maybe more? I didn't speak , I crawled around on all fours . . . Wtf. Major fail from my parents.
Also, something that I've thought was kind of interesting was if you thought you were an inanimate object or a plant or something like that? I got off topic a bit sorry. So, ever believe you are someone / thing else?

Hola, Ray.
Sounds like an interesting dream Are you the same demon every time, or are you different demons at different times?

Sometimes I think I'm God, but when I try to exercise my awesome powers, they fail This has only been going on a few weeks. I've written a story about a young Buddhist woman who became a god, but that's not psychosis, that's just a story. Next I'm going to write a story about some Maya Indians who conquer the United States in 2050 A.D.

Yeah, the vision of you loping along on all fours for a week is a bit disquieting. On the other hand, I had a strong imagination when I was a kid, and I occasionally thought I was a hawk, or a cougar, or a bear. Not for a week, though; maybe for an hour. Once my little brother was pretending to be Kimba the white lion, and he ran on all fours and ran into a cement bench and tore his scalp. Bloody mess, that one.

Can't remember any time I thought I was a demon. You seem awfully merciful, to be a real demon
Thanks for this!

I believe our dreams are created by invisible people who control our brains. Our dreams are like them creating a short tv program that is your dream.

Hmmm, that sounds very interesting fuion.

Neodoering, I've been the same demon since I was about twelve but other demons have tried to convince me that I am them and not the original demon. The dreams I have from that perspective have always been ' memories' from my long life, which is pretty cool actually. I could write some pretty neat pre- Middle Ages stories. I even traveled to the east just before the first crusade. (I lived in Northern Europe at that time.)
I also had a voice once try to convince me I was another woman and she and I had switched places but she didn't know it. I should write that one down, that was a weird experience. . . I would randomly get glimpses into her life during the day like I was in her body. Bizarre.
Lol. Ouch! Sorry about your brother! My brothers and I used to pretend we were ligers and stuff and battle in the woods behind our house. We were playing inside one day and my younger brother ran full tilt into a glass sided cheese cabinet we had . . . Smashed it and had a nice gash on his leg. He did like a baseball slide into it trying to stop. .. Ah mom wasn't happy about that one.
