So, I'm curious... what time do you go to bed?

I usually go around 8-9pm at the moment. I can stay up longer if need be just by not taking my olanzapine until later, but not by much really. I've even had some days feeling tired before taking my olanzapine but I think that's just my mood.

The sedative is like a double edged sword, need it to quell the mania and thoughts, keep stable but it leaves you sluggish. But in time you SHOULD get used to it and be having the normal 7 hours sleep. Lots of sleep points to depression so other drugs and therapy may be needed.

I'm on Seroquel and I don't go to bed till midnight and get up six, seven am on work days. 500mg.

I usually sleep from 8pm to 5am. But, since they increased my meds, I have been going to bed at 6pm and sleeping until 8am.

Usually in bed by 9 but not asleep until 10. I wake up at 7:30am to say goodbye to my husband and daughter before they leave for the day, but then I am groggy so I sleep on the couch from 7:45 till about 10am. Everyday like clockwork I wake up for the second time at 10:00am. Before the meds I would wake up around 6:30 or 7 and be awake for the day. If I skip my meds on accident I wake up early and stay awake all day.

I usually go to bed about 10/11 and if it's not a work day, I wake up about 8/9. That's on the quetiapine, when I was on olanzapine I would easily sleep till like 11/12

9-10pm, among the other meds I'm on the APs I'm on are max dose invega and seroquel, they don't effect my sleep at all, I sleep fine.

It varies. Usually around 11pm/midnight and then wake up about 6/7 in the morning (with an alarm set so I make it to work on time). My AP is injected once a month (Invega Sustenna), so it's hard to tell what side effects it has on a day to day basis.

When I was first on AP, I was put on a mere 0.5mg of risperidone and it would knock me out within 30 minutes of taking it and I would sleep through my alarm the next morning. It got worse as the dose was increased, but I eventually grew used to it and it no longer made me tired but still helped with the psychosis. Then I started having lactation with the "final" dose increase, so I was put on Latuda. It did not make me tired at all, I just got to the point where I was not eating enough with it and getting physically sick (puking) as well as not doing well mentally. So, then came oral Invega. Again didn't make me tired or anything like that, I just started to not be consistent with taking my meds all of a sudden, so I was moved over to injections.

I am on a slew of other psychiatric meds, but none of them cause me any sleepiness either. I just still don't always remember to take then and pdoc gets on me for it. He's actually directly stated that if my other meds were available as injections, I would immediately be put on them to keep me compliant. Heh.
