I'm not sure what you could do about the light bulbs (except maybe cover them and use candles???), but They watch me through mirrors too so I cover them over. Can you use distraction or other coping skills to reduce how much it is distressing you? I hope you get some relief soon.

my husband will not let me turn the lights off when it dark he says there nothing wrong with the light blubs he says am worrying over nothing
he says it not real and he tells me not to be silly

my husband is my carer he is under a lot of stress dealing with me
and everything else like the bills etc ,some time i think that the stress is getting too much for him he might either leave me or have a heart attack
he dont get any help even though there are groups in my area he says he dont like to leave me on my own and he dont trust anyone in my family to look after and his family is in oxford and we are in Edinburgh i cant take care of myself as am a danger to myself and others because of my illness
i see my psych in august but i see my dr next month am on meds there anti psychotics anti depressants and meds to help calm me down well so they say there are they could be lying to my me and my husband
my husband says no one is interested in me that i dont live a life that would get goverment to look into me but there not doing that there poisoning me doing things when me and my husband sleep i have a got to be careful they are watching
I am at drop in service but there still watching me

That sounds like a lot for both of you to cope with on your own. Could you ask your Dr for some help? I'm thinking like maybe a MH support worker or carer who could come in and support you going out or doing something in the house so your husband can take a break and recharge his batteries?? Hopefully your Dr will have some idea of something that could help you both.

Hello
Is there a crisis line that you could text in the U.K.? They may be able to direct you in your area.
