So does anyone else get this? I have major depression so my mood is probably connected to my hallucinations in some way but- yeah. Does anyone else have hallucinations when scared from a picture?

I have never been triggered by a picture, that I can remember, but I have been triggered by other things. I'm sorry that you're experiencing this

Mmm can't say I've experienced it from something like a picture. I have, however, experienced worsening hallucinations, following struggles with grief. It's entirely possible that one could see a worsening of symptoms, due to emotional distress of any kind.

I've never had a full on hallucination from a picture, but it has caused me anxiety to the point of severe jumpiness, nightmares, etc, so I don't think it would be too far of a cry to say hallucinations would also be possible. Have you ever had hallucinations before?

Yeah, creepy pictures trigger me. I'm very careful with what I see. Horror movie for example, I can never enjoy it as it fuels my hallucination.

12am,

I am easily triggered by my environment. I dont like spooky pictures or horror flicks. I also struggle with being at home alone at night. I have auditory hallucinations quite frequently. I think the auditory hallucinations bring on the visual for me. I hate feeling like I'm in fight or flight mode all the time! I try to be proactive and sensor what I watch, see, and read.

Horror movies, creepy pictures, creepy music videos, creepy stories, feed into my delusional thoughts and then i will sometimes experience hallucinations involving them, but usually it involves hearing voices speak about them, rather than visual hallucinations.
Thanks for this!
