Is this schizophrenia? Or is is real?
So my neighbors have been bullying and making fun of me and talking ***** about me. It's usually because I do something dumb. They will say things like," she try's to act like she thinks people are going to judge her". And whenever I try to hide my self from them they get pissed and say I am so tire of her trying to make people feel bad for her. Then they would say even more cruel things like SEE LOOK HOW STUPID SHE ACTS/LOOKS. And when I try to defend myself I would say something like IM SO TIRED OF THEIR MOUTHS. And then they say she says that to piss us off. And i think it's real because I literally hear their voices I've heard before. And they are so disgusting to me too. They said I think the reason why their being mean is because I called them b**** why are they being mean because I'm stupid that's pathetic. They are making me feel insecure about the way I act because every time I do act they judge me for it and I can hear them to. |

Hello Chesterpat: I'm sorry you are having this difficulty. We here on PsychCentral can't diagnose you. That is a job for a mental health professional. Our purpose here is to provide one another with support & to share information & experiences. However I noticed this is your first post, here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral! I hope you find the time you spend here to be of benefit.
From what you wrote what you are experiencing would not seem to me to be related to schizophrenia, assuming the neighbors you mention are in fact real people & the voices you're hearing are actually them talking. But that's just my personal non-professional opinion, based on almost no information. In order to figure out what is actually going on here seeing a mental health professional, if you can, would be the way to go. PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting! |

I am 11 years schizoaffective, and I hear voices running me down, all the time. I experience delusions of grandeur and visual hallucinations. I agree with Skeezyks, you should to see a psychiatrist and talk about what you are experiencing. Proven fact that the faster you get help, the less damage the illness can cause.
Good luck! |
