Lololol no theres not. Where i live its slightly hilly. But its mostly flat plains. In the middle of nowhere. Its true farm town. Lots of fields. In the city its still flat. Ive been trying to go through the events section on facebook but theres barely anything around here. Ive had to go at least 30 min to see a bit of something. Id prefer not to have to travel an hour or over. I do notice most of this metroplex events are in dallas. But thats far. Plus the crisscrossing of roads/highways and downtown area.......idk how to navigate that. Ive never driven in dallas before. I always have someone drive me. But still, havent been there in maybe 5-6 years.

Id see my mom but shell be in and out of town til december. I dont want to see her anyway. She sent me an airline confirmation saying she will be visiting my sister for a week. Shes leaving tomorrow i think or the next day idk. Yea that realllllllly pissed me off because i try to get her to visit me and she never does.

Anyway, not sure what to do really...

There is a nature museum about 30 min away by car. It has outdoor trails. But its not impressive. Which is why i never go. The inside part of the museum consists of taxidermy animals and dead plants with signs talking about the animals on the plains. Its real boring. I notice not many people are ever there...

How about a movie at the theatre?

I guess...not to big on movies. I dont even watch tv. Havent turned on the tv in my bedroom in maybe a year. I COULD pay for hulu again and have a kardashians marathon maybe tho. Idk

Is there a library nearby? I say grab a giant covfefe to sip on and a scone and read something entertaining... I recommend The Philosophy of Religion by Pojman, or if you're looking for fiction then The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson.

But yea im sick of doing the same things over and over again. Which is why im prob so attracted to my phone. It lets me see the outside world beyond this place. Im sick of looking out the door and seeing fields and no one around. Cars barely come by here. Even if they do i never hear them. Because we are 4 acres back away from the road.

I've lived here 15 years now there is more stuff but it's the same selection so I do understand....when I feel too trapped I take a weekend trip somewhere even if it's just an overnight......

I started to watch it... but it was giving me too much and I had to turn it off before I saw the rest of the trailer. Small things to live for. My father had me watch star wars as a child all the time when I'd go over to his house. Greatest concept for a fictional universe ever I think.

Yeah, they even have a built in café where they sell sammys, snacks, and coffee. The picture of the outside doesn't do it justice because he goes very far back into the woods, and the ceiling keeps on getting bigger and the backside is all windows that faces the forest. It's beautiful in there. They just brought public wifi so you don't even need a library card to surf the web. They have a book store in there too. It's crazy that we have 3 reputable libraries, two city libraries and a University library that's 4 stories I think. You can eat in that one too. They have a eaterie in the base floor with sushi and all sorts of stuff. The brain needs fuel!!!
