This video is not a true representation of mental hospitals. It's meant to be over dramatic and not to be real. It's highly stigmatizing along with that.

Maybe in some and twisted land but it's a song are we going to say basket case by green day is a better representation of everything? But I don't think either one is what really truely goes on

This is based purely on the people who made it thoughts and ideas. I have known people who've been to mental hospitals and I have been in one myself multiple times. I can say that this inaccurate. I have to wonder is what time period do you live in. It would be consider unethical for them to treat people this way. The hospitals would all be closed down. They do get inspections like other hospitals.
