Lack of motivation and emotion. Severe difficulties with daily activities. Social withdrawal and flat voice.

Low energy for me. Lack of motivation... Apathy like I don't give a **** about anything... Reductions in speech. I pause when I talk sometimes or don't speak at all... Socially withdrawn... and lack of paying attention. I sometimes can't sit down and watch TV.

It's hard to tell with me what is depression or what is a negative symptom....But then again some stuff persists even when my depression has improved.
The worst thing for me is my lack of self hygiene. And it's really tough cause I used to take daily showers, even when I was in bad state of mind. Nowadays it can be 1-3 weeks between showers. Memory is suffering, low motivation, low energy. (though low energy could be from my meds.) |

I’d say lack of motivation and blunted affect too. Some of the motivational issues may be meds though.
