So I was starting to get psychotic symptoms and paranoia.
My psychiatrist prescribed me a medication called Vraylar. It is used for Bipolar 1 and Schizophrenia, both things I am not diagnosed with. He gave me four sample packs. Two 1.5mg ones and two 3mg ones. I finished the first sample back and I feel amazing. Really happy and very little paranoia. Psychiatrist said the medication could also help with depression. He said it has little to no side effects. Which is true. I highly recommend some of you try it. If you're struggling to find a working one. It is called Vraylar and is somewhat new. My psychiatrist prescribed me it because the popular antipsychotics never worked for me.

I'm really glad that it's helping you, but I think it's incredibly irresponsible of your pdoc to tell you that it has "little to no side effects". It has all of the side effects that any atypical AP has, and your pdoc should be telling patients that so they can make informed decisions.
Interestingly, for UK peeps, the only partial agonist available in the UK at the moment is aripiprazole/Abilify. I think brexpiprazole/Rexulti is coming fairly soon, but cariprazine/Vraylar will be some time. *Willow* |

I take Latuda for my schizophrenia and it helps me. It has little to no side effects except reducing agitation and reducing other schizophrenia symptoms.

Since I made this post, I had gotten like five side effects. 1. Hands shaking / tremors for no reason. 2. Dizziness. 3. Constipation. 4. Hands sweating a lot. 5. Rash. I looked up these side effects online for Vraylar. The rash has mostly gone away. But the other four, I still have.

I tried Latuda once and I had a bad reaction to it. It made me very angry where I felt like I wanted to hurt myself or others. It was scary.

I never had that reaction. I don't think it is common.

Yeah I don't think it's common either.
I tend to get the side effects or reactions that most people don't get.

I don't know.
I never want to try it again though. I never felt that angry before. It was scary.
