Anyone who has paranoia who reads this, do you ever feel like your paranoid thoughts are illogical and irrational but still have them anyway? Like, (for example) you feel like someone is watching you when you know no one is around, you know that it’s not possible and certainty but still get the feeling?
Also, do you ever manage to differentiate between rational and irrational paranoia? Psychologists say there is a difference, as paranoia is quite normal really, it’s part of our natural instincts from millions of years ago. It only becomes a problem when it goes beyond rational and gets out of control. Thanks. Peace.

I’m usually pretty self aware that my paranoia isn’t real and doesn’t make sense. I’ve only ever completely lost sense a few times but mostly I can see it is irrational but still believe it.
