I currently take Saphris at bedtime. It helps me sleep, and it helps with my mania, and delusional thinking. It did cause akathesia and restless leg syndrome/nerve pain, so my doctor put me on Requip and Gabapentin. Saphris changed my life.

I used to take one 10mg tab at bedtim, and one at noon, but it caused me to be tired all the time, and I gained weight so my pdoc switched me to Geodon

I take one ten mg dissolving tablet at bedtime, and then I take 80 mg of Geodon twice a day. I'm schizoeffective bipolar type one, and also suffer from OCD . That's why I'm on such high doses. Like I said I take Gabapentin, Requip, and Amantadine all to control akathesia, and restless leg syndrome/nerve pain caused by the antipsychotics. The combination works well for me , but I'm pretty medication tolerant.
