It's a CNS Central Nervous system depressant, not emotion wise but nerve wise. It'll giv eyou a warm lik feeling as you get tired. If that doesn't help then maybe an AP like seroqul.

Thanks DT

My sleep is like that all the time. I'm tired most of the time cause of the trileptal so I don't want to increase daytime grogginess.

I may try the Benadryl, I haven't taken it in a very long time. I'll ask my sister to grab me some this weekend, I want to avoid seroquel cause it gave me extremely bad restless legs when I was last on it. Until then maybe I could take two of my .5 klonopin before bed since I'm prescribed to take up to 1mg if needed.

A common occurrence with AP's is akathasia. The akathasia gives me major restless legs, but there is a side effect pill for it called Cogentin that people take all the time. It's because Ap's block too much dopamine sometimes and that's what causes it. Risperdone did that to me while Geodon didn't give mee restless legs at all. Seroquel gave me restless legs for a couple months then it stopped doing it for some reason. It's an aweful feeling. Cogentin is dirt cheap too.

"It's crucial to take action against loneliness, which can have a negative impact on health. It has been widely reported that the impact of loneliness and isolation can be as harmful to health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day. It has also been linked to depression, sleep problems, high blood pressure, psychological stress and mental health problems."

I agree with this. I live alone and sometimes on weekends I don't leave the apartment. When I do that, it makes me really depressed. If I leave the apartment every day and interact with people I feel much better.

You know my mom is on lexapro and her doc said something like Ssri’s are really only good for like six months then you return to baseline anxiety and that cbt is a better long term solution I wonder if the Zoloft has just stopped working? Also try breathing into your stomach.....

It’s not really a matter of new meds so much as new coping strategies.....

I tried nearly everything to deal with my depression. Even tho the zoloft was for my social anxiety, it started making me happier a bit. At first, nearly zero depression for the first 3-4 months. But i tried vitamins, light therapy, keeping busy, making friends, etc more, absolutely nothing helped til i was put on zoloft.

Now it doesnt help anything. MAYBE my depression a bit.

I either need it raised or taken away or something idk.

I havent been able to see my therapist since April.

My job counselor called in a referral to a counselor and they haven’t called me. I told him that yesterday.

MU is moving out already. It's not because of me. I really dread finding out who will take her place.

I feel physically panicky. My mind is calm but my body is getting very anxious. Not sure what to do.

At school. Got an hour till class. Proud that I've made it to every class this week. I have Fridays off so I'm going to come here tomorrow morning to the student food pantry since I just checked their schedule and they'll be open. Thankful for that. All I have to eat is eggs till my Foodstamps come in Tuesday, nothing else.

The only reason I woke up today was because of my case manager knocking on the door. I looked like a mess cause I rolled right out of bed....

Hey guys! Had a busy day. Worked 7 - 2 with a short break to drive my daughter to school and one to see my guy. Then I checked the mail and my check was in! Woohoo a day early. So I went to the bank. Now I’m relaxing before my daughter gets home. I’m going to see my sons race in 45 minutes. They canceled Tuesday thankfully so now I get to go.
Ick...I’m making a venison roast for the guys. It is stinking up my whole house because it’s in the crockpot.
If my son comes in first I’ll offer him sundaes or dominos. I’m sure he’ll pick pizza. But I don’t know. He’s running against a fast team and that hip/pelvis thing he broke last year is hurting him. He might suffer defeat. I really hope not. I don’t want to be in the car with him if he loses lol.

I went out looking like that today lol. Both of my kids took showers (usually my daughter showers at night) this morning which are up my shower time so I just threw on some clothes and left with my daughter. We got in the car and she’s like you know you’re wearing your blue shoes with a red shirt. That was the least of my concerns. I hadn’t even brushed my hair and her teacher came over to talk about the freaking weather.
