Has anyone had any bad experiences drinking coffee or tea, or are they just harmless drinks?

Coffee sometimes increases my anxiety. Most of the time it improves my energy and doesn't have any bad effects though; however, it affects everyone differently and can depend on how much you drink

Neither one really affects me. I can drink it late at night and still go to sleep. The only thing is that tea makes me pee a lot!

I used to have multiple cups of tea a day but one year I had a single coffee and felt overly stimulated and anxious.

Now I drink decaf and have no issues.

I've transitioned to tea because coffee is over stimulating.

I can't have coffee after 1pm or I'll have trouble sleeping.

I too have gotten paranoia from drinking coffee, but only the first times I drank it. I got used to it and drink it now to wake up.

I've struggled to reduce my coffee intake for a while now. Really, the most negative side effect I get from it is shaky hands. Which is not good. But I still charge along, coffee in hand...

Caffeinated coffee increases my restlessness so I opt for decaf. Tea nothing.

I don't drink coffee but tea doesn't affect me adversely.
