Damn...I just dropped freaking $300 on dog meds. 2 seresto collars, 2 Sentinel preventitives.
Next week the big dog goes in to the vet. If he doesn’t need to start on supplements it should be around $350. I hope. Then it’s the pup’s turn. He won’t need supplements yet so it should be abt the same. Expensive month: flea $ tick meds, worm preventatives, vaccinations, office visits. Then my kids wisdom teeth cost me $700 yesterday. Plus Easter. Ugh. I need another job. __________________ Schizoaffective, PTSD, Anxiety

I also have a baby tooth still since there’s no adult tooth above it. My dentist told me he can’t say what will happen. For some people they fall out but he also had elderly patients still with baby teeth. I saw a X-Ray of it... it’s interesting. Unlike all the other teeth you can clearly see there is hardly any root. Amazing it stays firmly in. __________________ The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Thank you Blue_Bird! Star Trek TNG is on now, which is good but my faves are Voyager and TOS. So I can get lost in YouTube again haha.
How are you doing? Are you still having that coughing? Maybe it's an allergy. Lately I've been getting bombarded with second hand smoke due to poor seating arrangements on the patio here. It triggers my allergy to smoke. It's almost as if I didn't stop smoking at all. Trying to steer clear of it now. It's still cold out. I keep thinking it's time to retire my winter coat for the season, but it's just too cold every day still. Maybe one of your neighbors smokes and you're allergic. That happened to me before this place. I'd cough and only notice afterwards that I could smell cigarette smoke from somewhere near my windows. |

This reminds me that I really better start going back to the dentist. I'm dreading it so much.

omg I need to so badly and I've been putting it off, my teeth are so screwed up from the ED, I don't want to have to get another root canal/crown. I need to just make myself go at some point and get whatever I need done taken care of

I see the dentist once a year for a cleaning and check up. Luckily I haven’t had a cavity in many many years. I used to get quite a few when I was a kid.

Confession?
I stopped going to the dentist when I had my wisdom teeth out. It was an awful experience and I had literal panic attacks just going to the office. I’d make them then leave. I didn’t actually go back until I got pregnant. (Bad oral hygiene can be risky to a pregnancy) After I had my first I went to the dentist and had extensive work done. I had never had a cavity but after 14 yrs of no dentist I didn’t fare so well. Continued going and getting the work done. I also have periodontal problems as does the entire maternal side of my family. Did gum grafts and all that. Got pregnant again and this pregnancy was hard on my gums. All the work I had done was pretty much reversed. I went back after I had her but the peri and dentist said that my mouth now requires like $20000 in restorative work. Rebuilding gums and bone cuz of the peri stuff. Then cavities, root canals, and crowns. I have since only gone for cleanings. I have refused all additional work for now. I really can’t afford it, it’s painful, and unfortunately the peri disease is so far advanced it’s like pissing in the wind. I wish I could afford implants. I used to have such nice teeth. Through no fault of my own really. Genetics suck __________________ Schizoaffective, PTSD, Anxiety

Yes, best to keep up with it. At least cleanings. I have to get the rest of my teeth extracted. Don't wait until it's too late!
