Better to find out now than before you waste a lot of money on classes, especially if it’s loans. Personally I’d start applying today. I think you may have gotten into a negative thinking spiral where you’re telling yourself you can’t do things without even trying. You should discuss that possibility with your T. You may also have too big of expectations for a first job. We’ve all worked retail, that’s where you start even if you’re eventually going to be a ceo. You have to prove you can show up on time and follow basic rules before anyone else will take a chance on you.

Yes. I even have concerns for work at home jobs. I feel like i cant do anything because im so depressed and anxious. I just dont know if i will be showing up on time everyday. I remember my first job in high school. It was retail. I did it for two weeks. I absolutely hated it. I told them i was quitting to focus on my high school diploma but i just didnt want to work.

Maybe im a lazy sack of shyt idk

If anything your anxiety will help you show up on time. The depression will make things harder but in no way impossible. However if you believe you can’t then you never will.

I suppose you are right. I agree about the anxiety thing too. Im scared of managers/bosses etc. which is why i always showed up to my last job. But i couldnt take it anymore after 2 weeks.

when I started working again I worked 15 hours a week. I've said it a lot but having a job has been the biggest part of my recovery. it's amazing to look back on myself 10 years ago.. I was in your same situation.... and felt like I'd never be about to work. I was also pretty scared of my managers but it gets easier with time. I joke around with mine now. everything new has a period of unomfortableness and awkwardness

If you goto hospital get a med overhaul.....I’d swap out the haldol for geodon first and see if that stabilizes your mood.....I’m only on 1 AP so it can work for mood too.

I probably wont goto the hospital. Im close to needing it but after talking to you guys and you guys reassuring me, im ok right now.

If i went to the hospital i couldnt choose my meds anyway. But my doctor seems ok with me choosing my meds. See, if i have to move back to my dads, i will have to go back to that clinic i hate. I have a private psych now and private therapist.

If you only see them once a month or so why not keep them and make the drive?
I drive about 45 minutes to see mine. Used to be over an hour.
If you like them and they are more attentive then I’d stay.

How about something like Target? I think they pay like $15/hour and they have an electronics section.
They drug test but from what I’ve heard it’s a decent job. Better than Hellmart.

I applied there and got denied. I would hate to work at walmart only because i know people that work there and management treats them like crap.

I worked at Cumberland Farms for a couple years. Do you have them there? It’s a big chain convenience store/gas station.
They usually pay about a $1 above minimum wage (here they pay $14/hr until min goes up to $15)
It’s a fast paced job but it’s not a bad job.

FWIW convenience stores will hire without experience. They know it’s typically a first job.
