Erti, your issues with your doctors and case managers remind me a lot of my old clinic. I couldn't wait to leave there. I was stuck there for 7 years or so because all the psych doctors that took Medicare in that town were at my clinic. I got real lucky considering this town is a 3rd or 4th of the last one I was in and seems to have a few more things to offer than I got back there for some reason. I remember going to the only private psych I could find at the time in the last town but she said I needed more care than she could handle and sent me back to the clinic. Ugh my time there was AWFUL and even people I knew that worked there quit because they had nothing but bad things to say about the place. I'm sorry erti.

Do you think a group home will help? Sometimes it’s just important to have other people around...... __________________ Hugs! |

They definitely see it as a last resort option as it can kill you but if it works then it’s a miracle drug......

No...it’s just regular ole deli stuff. It’s Market Basket...idk if anyone knows who they are but they are a bigger than average/cheaper chain. I save about $30/week by going there rather than Stop & Shop. Anyway, it was just incredibly busy and there were only 2 meat cutters. I got in line at #8 and my number was #16. 29 minutes total standing at the deli for 1 lb of cheese. I could have throttled someone. I almost left 1/2 way through but I was too stubborn __________________ Schizoaffective, PTSD, Anxiety

Oh we finally heard back from the doctor about hubby’s MRI
4 out of his 7 cervical (neck) discs are damaged. At least 2 discs are fully ruptured, 1 is either mildly ruptured or severely bulged, and the last is moderately bulged. So she said she can do no more for him and he needs to see a neurologist. But she did refill the Flexeril. We figure he won’t get an appt until next week because of the holiday. I feel bad for him. I have 2 or 3 ruptured lumbar discs and an anular tear in another. Totally and completely sucks but since I’ve lost the weight my back has only “gone out” once. It’s different with the neck. I don’t think weight has much to do with compressing neck discs. His is 100% activity related. Just for reference last year he chain sawed, dragged out from the woods, loaded into a trailer, unloaded from trailer, and the axe chopped 10 cords of wood...by himself! He roofed our house. he hand built a shed, he does everything. Poor guys in for a rude awakening. __________________ Schizoaffective, PTSD, Anxiety
