Oh come on. They found white crap in my throat at the health centre today. They think it may be strep. Gonna be tested tomorrow for that. Also looking at a possible migraine. This just doesn't end. x_x

I'm not gonna do that SteadyMD app thingy. It's just too much money. 90 dollars a month. I think I will just see a doctor in person.

It's okay to have a healthy level of fear. Being prediabetic does lead to the possibility that you could have become fully diabetic by now. I was prediabetic for awhile and now my doc says I am diabetic type 2, but it's well controlled even without watching what I eat or exercising. I know later on, it will get worse, but right now, it is what it is.
Psoriasis or eczema is more likely, in my opinion. Both are easily treatable with creams and are really just not pretty to look at but not overall big time scary. I have eczema also and found a wonder cream at a health food co-op that I like better than what the doctor gave me. If you are really scared about it, can you go to the doctor and have them look at it? They would know within 2 seconds probably what it is. My doctor, when I was having my first bad eczema breakout knew right away just looking at it. It would quiet the paranoid thoughts to know what the spots are instead of speculating. __________________ Diagnoses: PTSD with Dissociative Symptoms, Borderline Personality Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain |

Ugh idk. What do u guys think?
Should I try that new approach to going to doctors and do SteadyMD? Supposedly you can video call, text, etc a doctor anytime u need. It's the same doctor. You pick one out. They can do labs for u too etc. Everything but an emergency. But u can send them emergency tests or labs or whatever to them. Its 90 a month. I thought about doing it for my weight, to lose weight. The doctor I picked out is both a medical doctor with also holistic approaches. Shes an MD tho. Or should I just see a doctor in person? Problem is, with Medicare I cant get just any doctor. Theres a limited selection. And also because itsMedicare, it would personally be subject to the doctor if they want to take me on or not. __________________ "We're all born to broken people on their most honest day of living"

I have medicaid/SSI so it covers my doctor visits and meds. Not sure what you get with medicare, that's what you have right? Either way, it's important for your health. It would be good to get a physical in general if you haven't had one in some time

But I cant pay for a nutritionist or anything because my Medicare only covers those services if ur already diabetic, and I dont want to wait til I'm diabetic to start eating better. __________________ "We're all born to broken people on their most honest day of living"

With Medicare I still have to pay copays and anything else that they wont cover like certain lab tests. I got tested for diabetes once and i had to pay 1000 dollars for the tests. I spent all my savings on that test. Medicare only covers 80 percent, and that's only if labs or anything besides talking to a doctor is even covered by them.

When I started changing my eating habits I started with small things at a time. Like one month I switched to 2% milk, then at some point fat free. Add some more vegetables and fruit over carbs and red meat, eat more fish and poultry, especially turkey. Maybe switch out one junk food item you generally eat during a week for example like a bag of chips for a piece of fruit and some kind of protein like walnuts. I know that's just a brief description but basically don't make sweeping changes at once and don't cut out all treats. It's okay to have some now and then, depriving yourself will generally backfire to overeating junkfood. There's not really bad food and good food most has a place it's just things need to be balanced and done in moderation. It took me a couple years to change my diet to fairly healthy. I used to eat chips and pastries and pizza, etc tons of it every day. Now I just have some once in awhile. It takes time and patience, weight takes time to come off as well.

I've been eating slightly healthier, but I got on a sandwich binge for a month or two where i was eating nothing but sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I get on these binges where i crave things and it's all i eat. __________________ "We're all born to broken people on their most honest day of living"

If you're not able to now it would be worth saving money for because over the long run health problems will end up costing you more the longer something goes on, for example untreated diabetes, not saying you have it it's just good to find out if you're concerned. or is there any way your dad could help you see a doctor and get tested? there are sliding scale clinics I think but I don't know much more about them
