Sorry you’re struggling

I got TD on an atypical (invega sustennna) but I haven’t experienced it on Thorazine even though it’s a first generation

I’m at the gym trying to do my best. I don’t feel quite myself but I had the feeling that I should go to the gym. But my therapist says I shouldn’t use should statements because they lead to negative thinking and guilt.

I’m trying to change my thinking but it’s hard. I had the feeling I should go to the gym so I am here.

While I get what your T is saying...the only reason anyone goes to the gym is because they should....ok so there’s a few who totally have fun at the gym weirdos.....

I Think should statements are only bad if you 1) use them to feel guilty ie like I should have done something but didn’t 2) use them for expectations of others as in but she should have made dinner for me but didn’t.

I feel guilty if I don’t go to the gym though. I use should statements a lot and feel guilty for them.

I get what you’re saying though. Should isnt always a bad thing.

I think the difference is if you’re ruminating or if you act on the statement right away....while it’d be better to want to do the thing we’ve all got stuff we should do too....

Getting sleep really makes a difference, I feel super happy today. Plus I'm starting to feel a bit better, congestion is clearing up a bit and cough is getting better, it's not painful like it was

Yeah I guess it all depends on the person. Haldol is known for causing TD at a high rate but that doesn't necessarily mean I'll get it.

I'm afraid to use the oven in my new apartment, I'm not used to the settings and I'm afraid I'll burn the building down

I guess I'll stick to stuff that doesn't need to be baked until my sister gets back from North Carolina. She'll be back Thursday, I'll have her come over here and help me feel more relaxed and get over my fear

It’s 60 degrees out and the heat is rising, so it’s hot upstairs. We are gonna need a a/c for upstairs. Like a window unit. Ugh. In the mean time I have a few popsicles left from last summer in the freezer. Roll Call 161!
