Working on the outline of the embroidery project

Went to the library and picked up some requests. Now I'm just drinking a coffee. It's cold outside. 31 degrees Fahrenheit. I only wore a light hoodie and a hat and regretted it but didn't feel like coming back up to my apartment to get my coat so just continued walking there. At least with masks on it keeps your nose and most of your face warm.

It's gonna be like 22 degrees the next two days with a low of 7, supposed to snow. Happy about that. It doesn't feel like Christmas without snow here in New York. We accumulated a lot of snow the past several years but not this year, due to global warming probably.

I'm hoping to finish my embroidery project by Christmas or New Years. Not exactly sure how long it will take me, I'm learning as I go. I'll be so proud of myself when I'm done. Actually, I'm already proud of myself for learning how to thread a needle and doing a basic running stitch! Other parts of it will be a little more complicated. I could see this becoming another hobby

Actually, I should subscribe to ZB. I'm having such a hard time finding liquids in 12mg. But $30/month is kind of high for me. Actually, it would be longer lasting because I only go through 2 or 3 ml per day..

Glad you are enjoying the embroidery Blue_Bird. I can do some embroidery but my Grandma was an expert. I have some beautiful pillowcases that she made for my Mother that my Mother gave me. But my Mom won't let me use them. I think that's silly. They are meant to be enjoyed!

I'm proud of myself. I have this boring task to do at work which is scan every document from the beginning of time apparently. It is hard for me to stay focused on it with my ADHD. But I got like 13 files done this morning. 13 down, a zillion more to go!

I'm enjoying all my hobbies lately. Reading, videogames, playing ukulele, arts and crafts, watching stuff on Netflix. It's helping me to not be so anxious and bringing a lot of joy into my life.

That's awesome! I started to learn how to crochet but I'm kind of stumped with it., I think I'd do better if I can find someone who can guide me in person with it, I have tried youtube videos but even they can be confusing sometimes and too fast to follow along. Eventually when it's safe to do so I'll attend a class or something for it. Cause I definitely want to learn how to make a scarf, beanie, blankets, and other fun stuff. I feel slow sometimes, like mentally, for taking a long time to pick up new skills. I don't know if it's meds or just me. The only thing that comes somewhat naturally to me is music, because I grew up playing the violin in Orchestra

I have non-cancerous bone tumors that grow in my mouth and jaw. I've had some removed but it is an exercise in futility as they just grow back.

Today they are especially painful. I probably should see an oral surgeon again but I know it is pointless.
