I have a good idea for St. Patrick’s day. I found a blender recipe on Pinterest for shamrock shakes that has baileys in it Roll Call 180

Had a couple drinks to relax. Thoughts slower.

Exam tomorrow afternoon. Nervous. But I think I’ll be okay. As long as I can focus.

I’m bored Roll Call 180 I have shows to watch but I don’t feel like watching them right now. I have games to play but I don’t feel like playing them right now.
I want to talk to someone. Idk what about. Just to talk about random things. I need to get thoughts out of my head. I’m stuck with my own thoughts 24/7

It’s just, I have anxiety about stupid things. Like taking my meds (swallowing pills), eating food. And those are everyday things. So I have anxiety everyday, 2 times a day I have to take meds and swallow 5 or 6 pills each time. Then eating. That’s three or more times a day I have to deal with food and what I’m gonna eat. Whether I can eat it or not, if it’s not too high on my list of anxious inducing foods in regards to fear of choking. It’s like it just controls my life and I’m sick of it.

Like is it possible to get over that? I never used to be like this. I only developed this type of phobic anxiety in the past year

Im sorry you’re going through that. I think it’s possible to get over it. I believe in you.

I don’t have any advice but have you talked to your therapist about this? I’m sure they would have some advice.

Do you know why it’s happening? Like are you having negative thoughts? I thought you got a pill crusher?

I used to have bad driving anxiety in th city, turns out it was just the city and I’m fine in the burbs.

I’ve developed anxiety over showering ever since I started working from home last year. I’ve talked to my psychologist about it and she gave me some advice but it’s hard to follow sometimes and I let slip.

I don’t know why it’s such a thing. It seems dumb to be anxious over showering.

Thank you

Yeah I’ve talked to my therapist about it, she mentioned trying relaxation techniques. I just have a hard time letting go of the mental anxiety around it. we didn’t discuss it the past two times we talked though because we were more focused on dealing with the mania/psychosis then depressive episode.

I’ll bring it up again to her and see what she says. I don’t know what happened that triggered it.

I have anxiety driving out on the highway. I’m fine in the city. But I have anxiety parking. And test anxiety so I haven’t passed my drivers test yet.

Possible trigger:

Yes I got a pill crusher, I’ll have to call and clarify how I’m supposed to do that with the pharmacist. Like am I supposed to take it in food or something. Like in yogurt? Like does it have to be specifically In food. Or with food. I don’t know why I haven’t been using it I honestly forgot about it. That could take away at least some of my anxiety. Not all my pills can be crushed but the big ones can.

I see. My gag reflex is super strong, I’d probably puke rather than choke. I would talk to the T specifically about those thoughts and why they may or may not be realistic?

Definitely ask the pharmacist about th pill crusher. I’ve never used one. I used to take pills by chewing up 2-3 m and ms and putting the pill into the mix and swallowing.

Thanks I'll call the pharmacist on Monday and see what they say and I'll talk to my T about the thoughts. I never thought about bringing those thoughts specifically up to her before so thank you I guess I never really verbalized them before I posted them here tonight because I felt if I did so it would make them more real and I guess I didn't want to acknowledge them for some reason

One thing that sometimes helps me is telling myself, “this is going to be easy” before I start something anxiety provoking.
