I do think maybe getting off the Abilify would be good though. Maybe that’s the issue.

Possible trigger:
I think it may be from PMS. I get really severe PMS. Like very very bad mood problems during it. __________________ R.I.P mom 8/6/55-1/15/16 “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” -St. Francis of Assisi

Is coconut water good? I bought 2 cans of it. Haven’t tried it before. Or if I did it was a long time ago and I don’t remember what it was like.

Went out shopping but I forgot my wallet. My mom covered for me and I got a few things because it feels good. Not too much though. A book, and one of those pore cleaner things. Exciting!
I was noticeably talkative and happy. I feel great. Manic energy. Feeling less stress now I finished my exam. Hopefully I can be focused tomorrow for work. Got lots to do. |

I liked the article. I guess patterns are patterns. I don't necessarily blame my impulsivity on Abilify. The Abilify has an extremely positive effect on my mood. So that's worth keeping. I just have to find other ways to deal with the impulsive stuff. I have been doing a reasonable job lately. I haven't dropped out of grad school lately. Actually I haven't done that for like 5-6 months. And I haven't thrown out my meds in a long time, probably 9-10 months. So those are both good things. Means I'm making progress. __________________ "Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it!” |

I’m dreading having a shower. Gross but it’s been a week. Someone will notice if I don’t take a shower. Ugh. I should try to enjoy it. Just quick in and out I can do it.

Would mindfulness help? I mean just like taking it one step at a time and feeling the water. I don't know, probably sounds weird but mindfulness has helped me with things like that. Things that are habitual such as showering and washing dishes can be improved with a little mindfulness. In my opinion. Paying attention to thoughts and feelings, letting them go and returning to the action at hand. __________________ "Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Yeah you sound like my psych lol. We talked about this before and said to just focus on small things. It’s just hard to put into practice. |

I think I’ve like negatively associated my bedroom with a bad mood. So like when I’m in here, which is like all the time, I’m in a bad mood. Because I spent most of the past year in here. I need to start spending more time out of my room in the living room and other places and breaking that negative association. I think because I spent a lot of the past year struggling with a depressive episode.

I focused on the positive things like the warm water and the nice smells and had a shower. Nice and clean.
I also tried out my little pore cleaner blackhead remover thing. I might have bruising on my nose now but I feel my pores are cleaner. I can see myself being obsessed with cleaning my pores now. I should get one of those scrub pore cleaner things too. |

Not looking forward to work tomorrow. So much to do. Complicated stuff. I have to focus on it.
Looking forward to talking to my doctor. Maybe I can convince him to do something I can’t keep like this. I need a refill for Abilify for whatever higher dose we’re doing. I should try to sleep now. |

I'm going to apply for a job tomorrow at a restaurant to wash dishes - Make extra money and at least break this cycle of winter-quarantine purgatory.
