Lately I've been dying to wash my face with my little Clarisonic Mia device, battery powered and with different scrubbing brushes. I love that thing, I really want a skin care routine again. But if I get good cleansers they'll probably be stolen.

I'm in the decade where you start looking really older, the closer you get to your 70s. I hope I won't change so much. I still want to get my left ear pierced again. I have dozens of pairs of earrings that I haven't been wearing. I want my crystals and jewelry around me. I hate being apart from all my favorite things. On top of that I don't know where my paintings are. And some of my jewelry (maybe all of it). And my crystals. I'm at the point where I've lost so much I just grieve and put the anxiety away. Because every day I lose more.

I’m getting work done! I feel a little more normal today. Lithium is already helping me come down from my mania. Not perfect yet, but I feel able to focus more.

Maybe you could reframe that and say you've been unfocused lately instead of bad.

I am able to do fine taking less Xanax today at my doctor's recommendation. So that's good. Now I am probably going to be able to go off of that at some point. Anyway, feeling a little better today. I think the depression is starting to ease up more.

I heard something about people .. that are depressed/manic in the tribe - They'd be told to wander the forest in search for a hot springs, bathe in it (Full of lithium) and they'd come back to the tribe, clear minded, stable and happy...

I had a good morning skiing with my sister and her friend.

I'm gonna learn the rules to the road today and my sister will teach me how to drive tomorrow. I already have my learners license but I want to get a full drivers license.

I talked to my doctor (my GP, not psych, though he works in the mental health clinic with my psych and therapist) He is going to have them schedule me a physical and a pap smear. Plus we're gonna see about me getting the rest of the HPV vaccines, I only got the 1st one.

I ordered some steel smoothie straws. So I can reuse them and don't have to waste plastic. I need straws for my smoothies anyway, I don't have any, I've been eating them with spoons lol.

Talked with my psychologist today after work. I last talked to her at the beginning of February and I was noticeably up. I told her what's been going on with going manic, and the doctor thinking I'm bipolar 1 instead of 2. And going on lithium. And self harm.

Gave me some advice and said I should feel proud of myself for managing my mental health. I wasn't well, had the insight for it (you guys helped me too!), and advocated for myself to get on more medication to manage it.

Overall, I'm feeling way better than I did last week. Hell, I feel better than even Monday morning. Much more focused, less hyper, no more psychotic thoughts. So that's good.
