I’m feeling hyper this morning. I feel amazing! Think I’m a bit hypomanic now. At least I’m able to get work done and I’m not manic.

And just think in six years hopefully still working at the same company I’ll have almost ten years under my belt with them. Working on my skills along the way I should be able to work myself up to a good position.

I know I’m thinking ahead a lot but I’ll have to eventually decide if I want to go for a masters or PhD or just be done with learning. Or go for something like a finance degree. Never know what I’ll be thinking in six years!

But I feel giddy now thinking about it. I don’t feel tired anymore. I want to just enjoy the happy but a little part of me is worried I feel a bit hypomanic.

I recommend a masters, a PhD can actually make you overqualified for some jobs and a thesis and oral exam are horrible. You can do most things with just a masters.

Yeah the university I go to offers a masters degree in computer science and a graduate certificate in data analytics. If I wanted something with math I would have to go to another university which would make things complicated. They do have an MBA program as well lmao.

I just think too far ahead. I could be burnt out after six years. Never know.

I’m supposed to be working but I keep thinking about school. I just want to work on my assignment now and get it done ASAP.

I’m hyper focused but on the wrong thing.

Cog before you invest your time in a PHD I want to tell you that for me there were about fifty graduates in my field for every full time faculty position. Problem is everyone of us though we were going to be th best and get that job.

This is a good thing to think about thank you for that. I just want to make a lot of money and be the best at what I can do. It would be cool but might not be worth it in the long run.

Never got my tax refund. I’m apart of a Reddit, Twitter, and fb group about it. Thousands of people within those groups alone and today marks day 21 for them (when you’re eventually supposed to call the irs if u haven’t gotten refund yet). Me too. Everyone’s calling irs but everyone is being told something different.

I’m getting my work done but I’m thinking about school and also going shopping for things but I don’t want to spend money and I’m chatting a lot.

Yup. I’m pretty sure I’m hypomanic.

At least it’s not mania??

I'm going to get my taxes ready this weekend so I can take them to my tax lady next week. I hope she can get them done next week and I'll have that off my plate. I paid for my car registration so yay! That's done! It's not due til May but I had the money so I wanted to make the payment. Got paid today so I paid some bills.

I'll be 25 this year.

At least now I'm not having panic attacks anymore.

I started this app Nomo to track things I wanted to track giving up. So far I’m doing good.

You can even track how much money you save by not buying alcohol.

Ha it says I’ve already saved roughly $23. I put it at roughly $50 a week I would spend on alcohol. Lately I would go to the liquor store probably every two weeks and spend about $100 or so. So yeah.

I likely was drinking way too much and it was contributing more to my mania. But it just felt FUN to go have some drinks.

Ah well. Maybe I can drink in moderation again one day but for now while I’m getting used to the lithium and managing my mood it’s going to be zero.

I like thinking about the dollar amount saved considering I’m trying to pay off debt right now.

I’ve been reading my journal from like a year ago and it’s amazing how happy I was compared to like now. I was motivated, I enjoyed life, I accomplished things. Now I’m so different, I’m not happy a lot of the time and I have a hard time with motivation and productivity and I often feel hatred towards my life.

I ran out of work to do and I have like an hour left of my day so I’m checking out this Digital Marketing Associate training thing they have on internal learning. Why not? Apparently can get a certification out of it.
